2008 TENTATIVE Schedule of Events

NO PETS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS EXCEPT AS A CONTESTANT IN THE PET SHOW OR DOG OBEDIENCE OR USED AS DOGS TO SUPPORT HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS.

Antique tractors and equipment will be on display throughout the week.  Antique tractors and equipment which are going to be in the parade will need to be registered at the Fair Office BEFORE 2 pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2008.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 9, 2008                          FREE ADMISSION

10:00 am-6:00 pm

Entering ALL Indoor Exhibits – Report to 4-H Stage for exhibit numbers

11:00 am

Regular and Hot Stock Tractor Pull (Light Weights) – at the race track

Noon

ALL Commercial Exhibits must be in place

SUNDAY, AUGUST 10, 2008                                FREE ADMISSION

                                                Judging of ALL Indoor Exhibits – BARNS CLOSED ALL DAY

Entering and weighing of ALL animals including horses, rabbits and poultry. ALL MARKET Animals must be on grounds by 4:00 pm. DAIRY must be on the grounds by noon MONDAY.

No Rain Refunds, Events Will Not be Rescheduled Due to a Rain Out

Admission $8.00 per person age 1 and up includes Gate Admission, Parking, Entertainment, ALL events at Race Track and Rides in the Carnival!

WEEKLY PASSES:  available in advance:  $24 for SIX (6) admissions – includes gate admission, entertainment, and all events at the race trace.  (Does NOT include rides in the carnival and CANNOT be transferred for rides in the carnival)  Tickets may be purchased at the following locations:  Gregg’s Pharmacy, Oakland Southern States, Grantsville Foodland, Funny Farm Citgo, Arrowhead Market and Foodland Fresh.
